The flagship branch of Majestic Wine in St John’s Wood had a surprise visit from Livin’ On A Prayer singer Jon Bon Jovi and his son Jesse Bongiovi to toast the success of his drinks brand launched in collaboration with French winemaker Gerard Bertrand. The Rosé specialist Hampton Water aims to blend “the best French wine and the Hamptons laidback style”. The wine is a Southern French blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvèrdre, picked from low-yielding plots in the Languedoc. Majestic started selling the brand in early 2022 and sales surged 50% in the first quarter to June 30.
