A pet tech start-up hoping to give pet owners unlimited 24/7 virtual care and improve the work life of vets, is to open its first clinic in St John’s Wood early in 2024. Creature Comforts will operate a £20 monthly subscription model which includes unlimited consultations, video consultations, in-app bookings, clinical records and reminders, routine vaccinations, member rates for neutering, dental treatments and routine medications, as well as community events. Alternatively, customers can pay-as-they-go for £85 per consultation. Clinics will be architecturally pleasing with up-to-date tech and customers will see the same faces every time. The co-founders, serial entrepreneur Daniel Attia and Russell Welsh, a qualified veterinary surgeon, started the company after finding it difficult to secure vet appointments for their two large-breed dogs bought during lockdown. You can get your pet on the pre-opening waitlist by visiting the website.
