Former Ritz chef Jake Finn has brought his passion for cooking over fire to St John’s Wood High Street with the opening of his new restaurant Cinder, following on from his first venture in Belsize Park.
A delicious selection of small veggie, meat and fish dishes awaits – from burnt leeks, pecorino and toasted hazelnuts and spicy black tiger prawns in a hot pepper and lime sauce to cote de boeuf with grilled onions and red wine jus, all served alongside a carefully curated wine list.
Jake comes from a big family and despite his fine dining background, he prefers hearty servings over pretty plates, sourcing the best ingredients which of course are “kissed” by flames.
