Everyman cinema National Theatre Live: Vanya

Showing on February 22 across Everyman Cinemas in Maida Vale, Belsize Park and Hampstead is a radical new version by Simon Stephens (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time) of Anton Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya (certificate 15) directed by Sam Yates. Starring Andrew Scott who played Sherlock Holmes’ nemesis Jim Moriarty in the drama series Sherlock and the Priest in comedy-drama Fleabag, this one-man adaptation explores the complexities of human emotions – our hopes, dreams, regrets. One not to be missed.
