All-star cast for a play with many legs!

emma Redgrave and Ewan Miller are to star in the world premiere of Marek Horn’s Octopolis at Hampstead Theatre. The play is about two scientists who are both studying the same octopus from different disciplines and their unlikely friendship and the quasi love affair that develops. Professor Grey is a brilliant behavioural biologist who, alongside her recently deceased husband became world-renowned for her pioneering research into the intelligence of an octopus called Frances who still lives in a large tank in Grey’s campus accommodation. In walks Harry, an ambitious anthropologist sent by the university to test his breath-taking theory on Frances, threatening to tear her world apart in more ways than one.
