Eighteen hospitality leaders took to the hallowed turf at Lord’s Cricket Ground for an outside overnight sleepover to highlight the growing issue of homelessness in the UK for national charity CEO Sleepout. Facing temperatures of 5 degrees in November, the senior staff made a superhuman effort to raise over £177,000. It is hoped that supporting more people who have faced homelessness will also help them find new careers in the hospitality industry. There are currently around 165,000 homeless people living in London.
